近日，美国斯坦福大学联合爱思唯尔数据库（Stanford/Elsevier）发布了第七版《全球前2％顶尖科学家榜单》（World's Top 2% Scientists）。该榜单包含“终身科学影响力排行榜”和“2024年度科学影响力排行榜”两个榜单。温州大学生命与环境科学学院甘延太院士连续7次（第1版-第7版）入选年度科学影响力排行榜，连续5次（第3版-第7版）入选终身科学影响力排行榜。
该榜单由斯坦福大学John P.A. Ioannidis教授团队联合国际权威学术出版社爱思唯尔发布，基于全球约一千万科学家的论文引用数、h指数（全称“H-index”，用于评估研究人员的学术产出数量与学术产出水平）、合著者调整的hm指数、单独或第一作者的文章引用数等综合参数，反映科学家的产出量和学术影响力，收录了来自22个学科领域、174个子学科领域全球排名2%的科学家。其中，“终身影响力”榜单统计科学家职业生涯期间的综合表现，“年度影响力”榜单则聚焦上一年度的学术影响力。（作者：郑梦雅）
