周红,男,教授(博导)。1987年毕业于四川大学化学系有机化学专业,获理学学士学位。1990年毕业于四川大学生物系生物化学专业,获理学硕士学位,同年留校任教,1995年晋升为副教授;2003年在香港大学动物系获理学博士学位;2003年至2004年在加拿大约克大学生物系完成博士后工作;2005年至今,在电子科技大学生命科学与技术学院工作。学术兴趣主要是围绕鱼类生长和免疫调节活动,阐明相关激素和细胞因子的合成、分泌和作用机制。近年代表性工作包括鉴定多种参与硬骨鱼免疫调节的细胞因子的分子结构、表达特征和功能地位,阐明参与的激酶受体、细胞信号通路和转录因子,着重揭示细胞因子相互作用的分子机制和生理意义。在国内外学术刊物上发表论文80余篇,包括Endocrinology,Dev Comp Immunol,Mol Immunol,Gen Comp Endocrinol和Fish Shellfish Immunol等。入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划和四川省学术和技术带头人。担任中国和四川省生物化学与分子生物学学会理事。担任Gen Comp Endocrinol, Fish Shellfish Immunol,Vet Immunol Immunopathol,European Journal of Histochemistry和Fish Physiol Biochem等期刊审稿人。
